Boot Camp X 2

Another busy weekend passed in the Kobs house.  Saturday was spent shopping, visiting Great Grandma, and Dan spent the night at the Bruin's game.  Sunday was spent attending multiple "boot camps".  The first boot camp we participated in was Pierogi Boot Camp.  This is when Dan's family (the Kobs side) gets together and makes pierogis which get frozen until Christmas Eve when they are then devoured.  This was the first year Dan and I participated.  The workout mainly focused on your fingers... turns out filling/pinching pierogis is an art.  On Christmas Eve we will find out how many break, and being the new gal I'm sure I will get blamed for all of them.

Second Boot Camp was Christmas Tree shopping for my parents tree - which is cut down fresh.  The Tree farm we have gone to for the last 5-6 years was closed when we showed up so we had to quickly come up with a new game plan.  Now this boot camp is vigorus and most years lasts for HOURS as Grandma likes the fattest nicest tree to be found. Trekking through the woods up and down giant mountains is often common.  This year however Grammy had to go to work afterwards so our search was only 45 minutes long.  Unfortunately, the perfect fattest tree was not found yet.

As a pearl harbor day gift, Dan gave me an ottoman of my choice to be picked out on our shopping trip on Friday.  I told Dan - great news - we don't need to pick out one Friday - I've got the PERFECT one!  So I pull it up on O.co and was told I couldn't get that one because Dan didn't like the shape!  In fairness, I won't tell you what that shape is, but instead will throw a poll on here...
